Remember, quite some time back Dr. APJ. Kalam, in one of his speeches had asked a question 'Why is the media here so negative?'. He had spoken about his visit to Israel (a country, that share its borders with hostile neighbours, much like India), where the front page of the newspaper he read, was full of positive news. Negative news relegated to the pages within, even when there had been an attack
Our current PM too had spoken on the same theme some time back, and the Dainik Bhaskar newspaper team had responded with a commitment to highlight positive news - notice their ads these days? But it still remains a fact that even today a high profile murder case rules the front pages of most newspapers here. Where is the positive news? Is there a lack of such news?
Thankfully there is not. So in this blog, I have decided to maintain a separate page highlighting positive news articles in the media. Positve news from around the world, but with a special focus on prominent Indian achievements. So lets get started. Let there be cheer all around. :-)
